Recently I came across with a Russian website where you can download 3d models for free. As I know models are in *.3ds format (are used for 3Ds max). And they are completely free to download. I don’t know how about license, there must be somewhere written.

Also the website offers 3d models with textures and without too… Models are very well-categorized and I think you will find what you need in minutes. There are even ready for use interior designs, people and animals 3d models.

There you can also find some 3Ds Max plugins again for free. There also some good books on design and modeling.

However the website is in Russian only, but as you know there is a good translator for website, which is called Google Translate.
